Memoranda of William Green, [ca. 1808-1835].

Manuscript reminiscences of naval operations during the American Revolution and just afterwards. This volume begins at the close of the siege of Charlestown, S.C. in May 1780. It ends with an account of a mutiny on the ship Hydra off the island of St. Helena in 1785.
